History
In the early 2000, there was a boom in IT market and after a peak there was a crash. There were few solid companies who could withstand that and remained vigilant in the IT market.
At that time back in 2000, Rahul Mahajan was a B-Tech student carefully observing all of this. As part of the coursework, he had developed several projects, took part in several programming contests and won many of them. He found that there was a huge market for the quality software. He got selected in IBM and Microsoft in the campus selection process way back in 2002 but he, however was not interested in doing the job and actually was thinking something differently. Yes, to start a company. And he did that out of his passion to generate quality software code for clients across the world.
Xicom was started from a small space in a market area but soon it shifted its more than 300 employees to a latest specially built dedicated Xicom building with ultra modern facilities and ecosystem to reflect its approach to provide excellent environment and resources to its employees for developing high quality software, applications and solutions.
Formidable Team and Big Breakthroughs
Rahul formed a formidable team by hiring some of the bright minds in the industry. Right now it has a team of 300+ highly skilled IT experts delivering result-oriented and cost effective solutions to small as well as large enterprises across the world.
Within 2 years of founding the company Xicom, Rahul got big breakthrough by getting a first million dollar project from a Telecom company in US, which wanted to outsource their work to the offshore software development company. In next couple of years Xicom managed to get projects from some of the leading banks and financial institutes in the US and Europe. That built the momentum.
In 2007, Apple launched the iPhone and that was a game changer. A year later Google also launched Android. It was not much difficult for Rahul to understand where the world was heading. He promptly formed a team to work on mobile applications development. In next 10 years or so Xicom has developed thousands of Android and iOS apps for its clients across the world. Now it is an undisputed leader in this space.
