My principal professional goal is to advance information management to the end of saving lives through improved humanitarian assistance. This implies combining an understanding of Geographic Information Systems, statistics, and the politics involved in Information Management within different governments, UN agencies and NGOs.
My professional experience combines an academic and research background with time spent in politics, studies in economics and GIS, and acquired experience in humanitarian information management in crises in Colombia, Haiti, Central African Republic, Mexico, Libya and Iraq.
