Framed Data is a predictive analytics startup company . The company develops prediction engine that takes up to date informations and give predictions about future user behaviours. In 2015, Framed Data claims it now has over 600 companies signed up as customers that send an aggregate of 2 billion events to process each month. Founder Thomson Nguyen says that Framed Data does not compete directly with data analytics companies like Mixpanel, Flurry, and Amplitude. Instead, Framed Data’s app runs their data through its machine learning models in order to generate predictions about user behavior.[2]

Framed Data aggregates in-app interactions, user engagement on mobile apps or websites, and whatever user demographic information is available. For example, Framed Data is currently working with a social network and makes a note of when users post status updates, interact with other peoples’ statuses, and post their own media and check-ins.

It is based on a predictive analytics platform that answers two basic, but fundamental questions for your business:

1) Why are your customers leaving?
2) When are your customers about to leave?

They use machine learning and model assembling techniques to make user predictions, also abstract all that away behind an easy to use interface and a very opinionated product that only provides dashboards that explains why users are leaving, and an API that explains which users are leaving, when they're estimated to leave, and the reasons why.

On average they say that they save 3-8% in churn per company, which can mean the difference between profitability and ruin. [3]
